Splash Brothers outscore Thunder's starting 5 in blowout win

A potential Golden State Warriors-Oklahoma City Thunder playoff series would be chock full of storylines and drama, but from a strict basketball standpoint, it's hard to imagine it being overly competitive.

For the fourth and final time this season, the Warriors once again thoroughly dissected the Thunder, blowing them out Monday in a convincing 111-95 victory at Chesapeake Energy Arena.

The combined efforts of reigning back-to-back NBA MVP Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson were too much for Oklahoma City to handle, with the Splash Brothers scoring 57 of Golden State's 111 points, with seven makes each from behind the arc.

To put their offensive firepower in perspective, the Thunder's five starters only contributed 53 points, with Russell Westbrook putting forth one of his worst outings of the 2016-17 campaign. In 27 minutes, the All-Star guard finished with more turnovers (five) than field goals (four) for 15 points - one point more than his previous season-low of 14 from Nov. 7 against the Miami Heat.

The Warriors have outscored the Thunder by 79 points over their four wins, with their biggest coming by 26 on Nov. 3 at Oracle Arena. Their winning streak is at four games, with their overall record at 56-14 - 2.5 games ahead of the San Antonio Spurs for the top seed in the Western Conference.
