Raptors' Tucker: Victory over Bulls was 'definitely a playoff win'
It may have been just one game out of 82, but P.J. Tucker understood the significance of Tuesday's win over the Chicago Bulls.
The Toronto Raptors forward was noticeably fired up following the win, likening the overtime victory to a playoff game.
"It was definitely a playoff win," Tucker told TSN's Rod Black.
Tucker said the turning point in the game came in the third quarter after Serge Ibaka was ejected for exchanging punches with Robin Lopez.
"I told the guys, when Serge got thrown out he had that fight in him, I said everyone on this team gotta fight for Serge," Tucker said.
Tucker's pep talk certainly had the desired effect, as the Raptors snapped an 11-game losing skid versus Chicago with their 122-120 overtime victory.
Tucker finished with eight points, 12 rebounds, an assist, and a steal in 33 minutes of action.
