Warriors fly young Curry fan to game after ticket mix-up
Isaiah Simpson, a 6-year-old Golden State Warriors fan from Snellville, Ga., was supposed to see his idol Stephen Curry play earlier this month, but didn't get the chance due to a ticket mix-up.
As his mother, Alex, explained to Kim Passoth of Atlanta's CBS46, the $600 tickets she purchased off StubHub wouldn't scan when she and her two sons arrived at Phillips Arena for a Warriors-Hawks game earlier this month.
The Warriors heard about the story, and then paid for Isaiah and his mother to fly to Oakland to meet Curry and watch Sunday night's game against the Memphis Grizzlies.
