It's hard not to sympathize with Indiana Pacers fans after Tuesday's game.
The Pacers fell from a fifth-place tie to seventh place in the Eastern Conference playoff race on what can only be described as a dubious call in the final seconds of a home game against the Minnesota Timberwolves.
With the Pacers up two and only 3.4 seconds remaining, Jeff Teague was called for a 3-point shooting foul on Ricky Rubio, when replays showed Rubio actually ran into teammate Gorgui Dieng - who was screening Teague.
Rubio went on to sink all three free throws, while Monta Ellis missed a potential game-winner at the buzzer on the other end.
Even more frustrating for Pacers fans, Minnesota had a 19-7 advantage in fourth-quarter free throw attempts.
