Watch: Grizzlies' Tony Allen defends LaVar Ball's parenting techniques
Troy Taormina-USA TODAY Sports
LaVar Ball has received plenty of criticism for the bold statements he's made about his kids, including top NBA prospect Lonzo Ball, but Memphis Grizzlies veteran Tony Allen is a fan of his parenting style.
Allen shared his thoughts on LaVar with TMZ Sports, saying he wishes there were more fathers like him in the black community.
While he has plenty of respect for LaVar, Allen didn't sound as convinced about Lonzo being No. 1 material, naming South Carolina's PJ Dozier as the best player in March Madness over the former UCLA guard.
