Cavaliers' Kevin Love: Officially questionable Monday vs. Heat
The Cavaliers are officially listing Love as questionable for Monday's game against the Heat due to an illness, but the big man isn't expected to play.
Analysis:
Love's illness isn't considered a serious concern and may not actually be a real malady, as the Cavaliers are likely just debating whether or not to rest him after he logged 42 minutes in Sunday's overtime loss to the Hawks. The Cavaliers still remain in contention for the No. 1 overall seed, but after back-to-back losses in which the core of LeBron James, Kyrie Irving and Love have played significant minutes, coach Tyronn Lue seems inclined to prioritize getting his stars some rest rather than vying for playoff positioning. Assuming Love sits out, Richard Jefferson would likely draw the start at power forward in his stead, sharing the minutes at the position with Derrick Williams.
