The Miami Heat have the toughest training requirements in the league, which is hardly a surprise given Pat Riley's influence.
Not every player is up to the challenge, but those who follow the program reap the rewards. Look no further than Dion Waiters, who shared a before-and-after photo following his first season in Miami.

Shedding the pounds led to a career year for Waiters, who bet on himself with a short deal in South Beach. A noticeably trimmer Waiters notched career highs in points (15.8), assists (4.3) and 3-point percentage (39.4), and he should receive a significant raise this summer.
Waiters is hardly the first player to find his resurgence in Miami. This season's entire roster was composed of discarded veterans and D-League call-ups that finished the season on a stunning 30-11 run.
