The NBA is investigating an incident from the first quarter of the Houston Rockets' Game 5 win over the Oklahoma City Thunder, involving Rockets owner Leslie Alexander and referee Bill Kennedy, the Houston Chronicle's Jonathan Feigen reports.
During the final possession of the first quarter, Alexander left his courtside seat and walked over to confront Kennedy on the sideline while the play was live. A request was submitted to the league for a pool reporter to question the crew chief about the incident after the game. The NBA turned it down, according to ESPN's Royce Young.
The Rockets won the game, 105-99, to eliminate the Thunder from the playoffs.
