Members of 'We Believe' Warriors invited to playoff game
It's been 10 years since the eighth-seeded Golden State Warriors shocked the basketball world by upsetting the No. 1-seeded Dallas Mavericks in the opening round of the playoffs - the third time such a thing had happened - in six games in 2007.
Dubbed the "We Believe" Warriors, key members of that roster have been invited to attend an upcoming playoff game at Oracle Arena to receive an anniversary ovation, according to Daniel Mano from The Mercury News per KNBR's Murph and Mac.
Baron Davis, Al Harrington, Jason Richardson, and Stephen Jackson have reportedly received invitations. Matt Barnes - who rejoined the Warriors in March after being waived by the Sacramento Kings - was also a part of that team.

"That is unbelievable,” Jackson told KNBR. "I just got that text message too and I couldn’t reply quick enough. I can’t wait to be there, to be in that playoff atmosphere. It was some special time. I think the Bay is still rockin’ from when we played there, and for them to honor us 10 years later … it’s exciting. It’s going to be good to have all the guys back together in that arena."
Jackson added he's rooting extra hard for this year's Warriors to hoist the Larry O'Brien trophy because Barnes is on the team.
"I hope they get a championship, because if Matt is able to get a championship with this team, it feels like we all won," said Jackson.
