Watch: Pierce, Garnett talk Ray Allen while Rondo keeps quiet
Kevin Garnett hosted a crew of his former Boston Celtics teammates Monday on TNT's "Area 21", and Paul Pierce said the time has come to settle the rift some in the group have with Ray Allen.
"We need to settle this," Pierce said, before joking, "(Rajon) Rondo will call."
Allen made up a third of the Celtics' Big Three that captured the 2008 NBA championship, but fell out with Garnett, Pierce, and others after he signed with the rival Miami Heat in 2012. Pierce later explained those details, saying he didn't like the fact Allen didn't tell him he was leaving first.
Rondo was notably silent.
“It was more than basketball for us… It felt like a sour breakup.”

Allen has apparently not been invited on a 10-year anniversary trip with his title-winning teammates, and Glen Davis surmises that is also due to tension between Allen and Rondo.
Later, the Inside the NBA crew began badgering the Celtics with "Free Ray Allen" chants, met by silence.
