Metta World Peace still picking Jazz or Clippers for NBA championship
Metta World Peace isn't willing to go back on his 2016-17 NBA champion prediction, even if it has a zero percent chance of coming true.
During the first round of the playoffs, World Peace declared that the winner of the Utah Jazz-Los Angeles Clippers series - which the Jazz took in seven games - would eventually hoist the Larry O'Brien trophy.
He even offered to give away one of his jerseys to a random Twitter follower if that bold pick didn't come to fruition.
I think the winner of the @utahjazz vs @LAClippers will be the @nba champs.

What do you think?
Pick one champion this year.
Jazz 🏆?

In the second round, the Jazz were thoroughly dissected by the offensive firepower of the Golden State Warriors, and were sent packing from the playoffs in a clean sweep.
Nonetheless, the 37-year-old is sticking to his guns, tweeting out Thursday that he still has either the Clippers or Jazz taking the title this year - an admirable level of commitment on his part.
I still have @utahjazz or @LAClippers winning the title. I can not go back on my word
