Watch: Curry sums up Warriors' 1st half with air ball from the logo
Oh boy.
The Golden State Warriors got off to a rough start in Sunday's West finals opener against the San Antonio Spurs.
Stephen Curry pulled up for one of his classic deep, deep treys, but this time he missed everything. The air ball encapsulated the Dubs' woeful first half, which saw them trail the Spurs by 20 points at Oracle Arena.
Golden State's 42 points marked its second-lowest scoring total after two quarters in 2016-17. The home club shot just 34.2 percent from the field and 22.2 percent from long range while recording 10 turnovers to eight assists.
Although the Warriors are heavily favored to win the series, the Spurs have a pretty good track record against them. Sunday's tilt marks the fourth straight matchup between the clubs in which Gregg Popvich's men have built a 20-point advantage.
