Kerr will travel with Warriors for Games 3 and 4 in San Antonio
The Golden State Warriors will be with their head coach on their upcoming trip.
Steve Kerr is set to join the club Thursday when it goes to Texas for Games 3 and 4 against the San Antonio Spurs.
"He will be on the trip," GM Bob Myers confirmed Wednesday on "The Greg Papa Show" on 95.7 The Game.
The head coach has been on indefinite leave since midway through the first round of the playoffs. He's dealing with pain associated with two back surgeries from 2015, and said he will not return to the sidelines until he remedies the issue.
Assistant Mike Brown has been coaching the club in the meantime, and has been doing just fine. The Warriors have extended their postseason win streak to 10-0 under him.
Kerr watched the last two victories from the team's locker room at Oracle Arena, providing encouragement during halftime.
