Watch: J.R. Smith tells Smart to 'get your a-- up' after flop
Warning: video contains coarse language
Boston Celtics guard Marcus Smart tried to pull out one of his patented flops in Game 1 against the Cleveland Cavaliers, but nobody was buying it.
Smart found himself in a mismatch against Kevin Love in the post Wednesday night and tried to exaggerate contact to win a call as Love bullied his way to the rim. The officials weren't convinced, and Love casually converted a layup.
To add insult to (feigned) injury, Smart got an earful from the Cavaliers' bench, as J.R. Smith cheerfully told the fallen Boston guard to "get your ass up" from the sidelines. Smith continued his chatter postgame, telling reporters that he expected more "dirty plays" and "cheap shots" from the Celtics going forward.
In addition to the incident with Smith, Smart also got into a chippy confrontation with Tristan Thompson before fouling out in 21 minutes.
