LeBron picks up 4 fouls in 1st half for 1st time in career
There's a first time for everything, even when it comes to the great LeBron James.
Never before in The King's prestigious NBA career had he been whistled for four fouls in the first half of a game. In fact, there were only six occasions during this past regular season when James picked up four or more fouls, period.
In Game 4 of the Eastern Conference finals, though, the officiating didn't play in the Cleveland Cavaliers star's favor, as James was called for an offensive foul at the 6:46 mark of the second quarter for his fourth of the night.
LeBron-led teams are 1-4 in the postseason when he has three fouls in the opening two quarters of a game.
Over the course of these playoffs, James had finished with four fouls just once (Game 3 vs. Indiana Pacers) prior to Tuesday.
