LeBron ranks 2nd on ESPN's World Fame 100
LeBron James' global presence continues to grow.
For the second straight year, the Cleveland Cavaliers forward finished second on ESPN's World Fame 100 list, with Real Madrid forward Cristiano Ronaldo the only athlete more popular than the King.
Kevin Durant was the only other NBA player to rank in the top 10, while Steph Curry (No. 11) and Dwyane Wade (24) finished close behind him on ESPN's list.
Here's where other NBA players finished:
2. LeBron James
8. Kevin Durant
11. Stephen Curry
24. Dwyane Wade
28. James Harden
33. Derrick Rose
34. Kyrie Irving
35. Russell Westbrook
41. Carmelo Anthony
51. Chris Paul
61. Damian Lillard
63. Blake Griffin
65. Dwight Howard
ESPN uses a formula based on endorsement deals, social media following, and internet search popularity to compile the list. Last year, 20 NBA players cracked the top 100.
