Watch: Kevin Hart recalls how trash-talking Harden failed miserably
Philadelphia native Kevin Hart can often be seen sitting courtside at 76ers games, which as explained on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!," provides him with ample opportunity to trash-talk players.
Hart went on to tell a story about the time he was giving it to Houston Rockets star James Harden after a bad first quarter, and how it backfired badly.
"I was saying a bunch of stuff to him," Hart recalled. "And he got mad. He said, 'Remember all this, I'm about to cook you.'"
Hart claimed Harden went on to score 55 points and the Rockets defeated the Sixers by 30 points, which appears to be an exaggeration on his part.
Harden put up 51 points against the Sixers in their Jan. 27 game, but the Rockets only won by five points. And while the Rockets did beat the Sixers by 27 points in November, the game was played in Houston and Harden finished with 33 points.
