Jalen Rose's sitcom pilot goes heavy on Kobe's 81-point night

If you weren't aware, former NBAer-turned-broadcaster Jalen Rose filmed a pilot for a single-camera sitcom this year, with himself as the main character - a divorced father.
Sadly, "Jalen vs. Everybody" was not picked up by ABC, but network executives thankfully allowed the pilot to broadcast on ESPN on Tuesday.
As a promo already indicated, Rose's involvement as a hapless Toronto Raptors defender in Kobe Bryant's 81-point game on Jan. 22, 2006, is prominently mentioned. It didn't end there.
Kobe's statue looks great, right @jalenrose?
