LeBron passes 3 HOFers to move up to 4th all time in Finals scoring
LeBron James moved up the list of all-time scoring in the NBA Finals not once, not twice, but three times in Game 3.
With a free throw late in the second quarter Wednesday against the Golden State Warriors, James eclipsed Elgin Baylor for fourth all time in Finals scoring.
The feat came shortly after the Cleveland Cavaliers icon overtook Bill Russell and Sam Jones for the No. 5 and 6 spots, respectively, earlier in the first half.

James, who entered the game with 1,136 career points in the Finals, collected 15 points in the first quarter alone. He had 27 at the break, which ties his career high for most points in a Finals half.
Given the 32-year-old's torrid run in these playoffs - he's second in scoring with 32 per game - there was a chance he'd pass yet another Hall of Famer in the contest. And not just anyone, but the person whose ghost he's been chasing.

He finished just short of that record, though, in his team's 118-113 defeat.
