LaVar Ball disclosed Thursday that his wife Tina has returned home after suffering a stroke in February. The mother of Lonzo Ball and his two younger brothers has been kept away from the public spotlight that LaVar has been courting in advance of this month's NBA draft.
"She wants to talk, and she can get out a few words," the senior Ball told ESPN's Jeff Goodman. "I'm rebooting her right now. She's saying, 'LaVar, you're right. You are right.' That's all I want to hear her say. Now we can get another 25 years having a good time. She is going to get better with me."
Lonzo reportedly underwhelmed his preferred Lakers during a pre-draft workout on Wednesday. The UCLA product is still expected to go in the top five of the June 22 draft.
