Cavs' Thompson: 'You ain't about to punk Tristan Thompson'

Nobody took more criticism than Tristan Thompson as the Golden State Warriors took a 3-0 series lead over the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Game 4 was a different story. Thompson had his best game of the series, recording five points, 10 rebounds, and five assists, along with providing a stringier defensive showing. That bounce-back performance led him to defend himself and his teammates after the game.

"Guys gonna talk, we gonna respond. You ain't about to punk us," Thompson said, via Sports Illustrated. "Not me, s---, you ain't about to punk Tristan Thompson."

Before Friday, Thompson had mustered only eight points and 11 rebounds on 4-of-11 shooting over the first three games of The Finals. His lack of production spawned criticism over everything from his contractual terms to his relationship with Khloe Kardashian.
