MCW baffled by 76ers fans showing him love
Once a part of the The Process, always a part of The Process.
Chicago Bulls point guard Michael Carter-Williams was inundated with tweets showing him gratitude Saturday, but he didn't understand why.

The 25-year-old was drafted in the lottery by the Philadelphia 76ers in 2013, and balled out early on to win ROY before being traded during his sophomore year to the Milwaukee Bucks for a future first-rounder (via the Los Angeles Lakers).
That deal, plus a few pick swaps with the Sacramento Kings, helped Philly net the assets necessary to reportedly acquire the No. 1 pick in next week's draft. The Sixers are believed to be sending the Boston Celtics the No. 3 selection (via the Kings) and either the 2018 pick they got in exchange for MCW or the 2019 unprotected pick from Sacramento.
Thus, as 76ers fans rejoiced over the news their team can select top prospect Markelle Fultz, they felt inclined to thank the person who helped make it happen.
Once Carter-Williams caught on, though, he tried to downplay his contribution.

But in the end, he just embraced it.
