Watch: Celtics fan burns custom-made Fultz jersey after trade

Someone thought it was a good idea to purchase a custom Markelle Fultz Boston Celtics jersey.

Spoiler alert: it wasn't.

Though it appeared as though the C's would select the former Washington star with the No. 1 pick in next week's draft, it was never set in stone. In fact, it was rumored well before Boston even won the draft lottery that it could move its assets in hopes of adding a star that could help them contend in the near future.

Reports emerged recently that Boston agreed to relinquish the top pick - and essentially all hope of landing Fultz - to the Philadelphia 76ers, leaving at least one Celtics fan angrily burning his prematurely made jersey.
