Timberwolves announce jersey sponsorship deal with Fitbit

Wearables are on their way to more prominence in the NBA, but the Minnesota Timberwolves are going all-in with Fitbit as their jersey-patch sponsor.

Teams will debut jersey-patch sponsors next season. The Wolves are the sixth NBA franchise to announce an agreement. Most notably so far, the Cleveland Cavaliers have inked a deal with local rubber giant Goodyear, the Boston Celtics with General Electric, and the Philadelphia 76ers with StubHub.
