Photo of braid-less Kawhi Leonard reportedly fake

Basketball fans were ready to pull their hair out after an image circulated Tuesday evening purporting to show Kawhi Leonard's new braid-less look. The only problem? The San Antonio Spurs' star hasn't actually snipped his trademark hairstyle.
Evidently, NBA's fashion police were duped by a doctored image, according to Jabari Young of the San Antonio Express-News.
Leonard typically bears the waxy, solemn demeanor of an NBA 2K MyPlayer, so any outward expression of personality is usually greeted with a big response from NBA fans on social media. Alas, basketball's most famous braids since Allen Iverson graced the hardcourt are still supposedly intact.
