This could've backfired.
Lonzo Ball changed into a pair of his signature $495 kicks in a new Los Angeles Lakers colorway at the NBA Draft, and didn't have a backup pair.
Luckily for him, the Lakers did select him second overall.
His family's Big Baller Brand started selling the purple-and-gold sneakers as soon as the pick was announced.
