Jimmy Butler has known no NBA home but Chicago, but after six fruitful years with the Bulls, he's been shipped to Minnesota.
After being traded to the Timberwolves on draft night Thursday, Butler took to Instagram to say his goodbyes to the Windy City.
Since being taken by the Bulls with the 30th pick in the 2011 draft, Butler has increased his scoring average every season, from 2.6 to 8.6 to 13.1 to 20 to 20.9 to 23.9.
He was named the league's Most Improved Player in 2015, an All-Defensive second teamer from 2014-2016, an All-Star in each of the past three seasons, and an All-NBA third teamer this past season.
