Prominent basketball agent Dan Fegan is seeking approximately $30 million in damages from former employer Independent Sports & Entertainment (ISE) over allegations the agency stole his clients and harmed his reputation, Darren Heitner of Forbes.com reports.
Fegan has lost several noteworthy NBA clients in the last few years, including John Wall, DeAndre Jordan, and Dwight Howard. Jordan fired Fegan in 2015, reportedly over that summer's free-agency fiasco between himself, the Clippers, and the Dallas Mavericks.
The lawsuit appears to be a response to ISE suing Fegan to enforce a non-compete clause after they fired him in March.
