Spencer Hawes wants to stay put.
Hawes will pick up his $6-million player option to remain with the Milwaukee Bucks for 2017-18, sources told Adrian Wojnarowski of The Vertical.
The 29-year-old Hawes would probably enjoy some permanency after being traded to his fifth team in four seasons. Hawes began the season with the Charlotte Hornets but was dealt to the Bucks at the trade deadline. He also logged stints in Philadelphia, Cleveland, and Los Angeles.
Hawes averaged 4.4 points and 2.4 rebounds in 19 appearances with the Bucks. He was Jason Kidd's fourth choice center behind Thon Maker, Greg Monroe, and John Henson.
