International prospect Zhou Qi will join the Houston Rockets for the 2017-18 season after agreeing to a multi-year deal with the franchise, league sources told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.
Qi, who was chosen by Houston with the 43rd selection in the 2016 draft, played for the Xinjiang Flying Tigers of the Chinese Basketball Association this past season.
The 21-year-old big man averaged 16 points, 10 rebounds, and 2.3 blocks for the Tigers in 2016-17.
Standing 7-foot-2 with solid range, Qi has the ability to develop into a solid stretch-five in the NBA.
