Report: Raptors, Pacers discussing trade involving Cory Joseph

The Toronto Raptors and Indiana Pacers are discussing a trade involving point guard Cory Joseph, league sources tell Michael Scotto of Basketball Insiders.

Toronto is hoping to create ample cap room by trading Joseph, which the club could use to re-sign unrestricted free agents Kyle Lowry and Serge Ibaka, league sources tell ESPN's Chris Haynes. The Raptors may be looking to unload multiple contracts, according to ESPN's Zach Lowe.

Joseph averaged 9.3 points, 3.3 assists, 2.9 rebounds, and 0.8 steals on 45.2 percent shooting for the Raptors this past season.

The Pacers are currently without a starting point guard after Jeff Teague reportedly agreed to a three-year, $57-million deal with the Minnesota Timberwolves.
