Fans raising money to pay Embiid's fine, spite LaVar

There are plenty of folks out there who love Joel Embiid's social media antics, and also a bunch who can't stand the outlandish statements made by Lonzo Ball's father, LaVar.

The two sides joined forces after the Philadelphia 76ers big man was hit with a $10,000 fine Saturday for saying "F--- LaVar Ball" on Instagram Live.

A Philadelphian made a GoFundMe page aimed at covering the comedic center's fee, "Because F-ck LaVar Ball."

Less than 24 hours in, the campaign has raised over $2,000, with proceeds actually going toward the SPCA.
