Monday night's summer league contest between the Los Angeles Lakers and Sacramento Kings was supposed to feature second overall pick Lonzo Ball going head to head with fifth overall pick De'Aaron Fox.
But with Ball likely sitting due to a groin issue, per Sam Amick of USA Today, the exciting individual matchup won't come to fruition, a development that Fox was seemingly upset with.
Though his original tweet was just that of a simple face-palm emoji, Fox quickly deleted it.
Fox's disappointment has a bit of context to it. The lightning-fast point guard dropped 39 points on Ball and the UCLA Bruins in last year's March Madness tournament and admitted that his goal was "to shut LaVar Ball up" in the contest.
