Zach LaVine could make a return to the court earlier than expected.
After tearing his ACL back in February, the Chicago Bulls' new starting shooting guard revealed he's ahead of schedule in his recovery, and will be ready for training camp in September, he said at the ESPYs.
The 22-year-old was in the midst of his best professional season before injuring his knee, averaging 18.9 points, 3.4 rebounds, three assists, and 0.9 steals on 45.9 percent shooting in 47 games.
LaVine was traded to Chicago along with Kris Dunn and the draft rights to Lauri Markkanen last month in exchange for All-Star swingman Jimmy Butler and the draft rights to Justin Patton.
