Lonzo Ball's NBA career is off to one heck of a start.
The Los Angeles Lakers' rookie point guard was named the Most Valuable Player of the Las Vegas Summer League on Monday evening.
Ball becomes the first Laker ever to receive the honor, having averaged 16.3 points on 38.2 percent shooting, 9.3 assists (a new record), 7.7 rebounds, 2.5 steals, and a block in 32.5 minutes across six appearances. This included a pair of triple-doubles, which were the first in the summer league in seven years.
