Wade believes '17 draft class has potential to be as special as '03
The 2003 NBA draft class was truly one for the ages, with nine players (LeBron James, Carmelo Anthony, Chris Bosh, Dwyane Wade, Chris Kaman, David West, Josh Howard, Kyle Korver, and Mo Williams) going on to feature in at least one All-Star Game, and four eventually earning a spot on an All-NBA team.
Wade - who was selected fifth by the Miami Heat - mentioned during a Twitter Q-and-A session Tuesday that he feels this year's class, which includes the likes of Lonzo Ball, Jayson Tatum, and De'Aaron Fox, could one day be mentioned in the same breath as his own.
I'm a fan of most. This may be a special draft class like 03π. It's hard to pick favorites at this point but Zo,Fox,Jackson,Tatum,D.Smith https://t.co/is961rh8CX

The 35-year-old forgot to acknowledge No. 1 pick and Philadelphia 76ers guard Markelle Fultz, but he quickly rectified the mistake.
Idk how I forgot the number 1 pick but Fultz as well https://t.co/lw9tcWV033
