Derek Fisher pleaded not guilty to DUI charges resulting from a June car crash, reports TMZ Sports.
The former NBA player and coach was charged with two counts of DUI after crashing a car on a freeway in Los Angeles. He was with his girlfriend, Gloria Govan, in a vehicle that's registered to her ex-husband and current free agent Matt Barnes.
No other cars were involved in the accident, and nobody was injured.
Fisher, 42, didn't appear in court, and instead had his lawyer enter the plea on his behalf. The five-time NBA champion has another court appearance scheduled in August.
