Kevin Love posts touching farewell to 'best teammate' James Jones

Jones was the ultimate professional, the type of glue player that held the locker room together. That's why James kept him by his side all those years, but Jones was also beloved by others.

Kevin Love, following in James' footsteps, posted his own tribute to Jones after he retired from playing to accept a vice president of basketball operations position with the Phoenix Suns on Wednesday.

NBA Champion X3. 7 straight Finals. Came to work and proved his worth every day. A mentor to me. Someone who understood what it took to win in this league. A difference maker. A true professional. So much to say about Champ...man, more than anything I'm gonna miss bouncing ideas off of you and learning from your experience. Best teammate I've ever had and proud to call you one of my best friends.
