LaMelo Ball tweets excitement over possibility of LeBron joining Lakers
LaMelo Ball seems on board with the idea of LeBron James teaming up with brother Lonzo in Los Angeles.
After reports surfaced Friday that Cleveland Cavaliers point guard Kyrie Irving asked the team to be traded, leaving James disappointed, LaMelo posed this question on Twitter:
James is set to become a free agent in 2018 and the Lakers have been rumored as a potential landing spot for him.
The father of the Ball brothers, LaVar Ball, has also expressed excitement over the possibility of James playing with Lonzo, telling ESPN's Ohm Youngmisuk during the Las Vegas Summer League he believes they'd win a championship together.
"Lonzo and LeBron? Come on man," LaVar said. "That’s the real deal. You don't want to give (Lonzo) the best player in the world. You don't want to give Lonzo the best player in the world and don't get no championship? Shoot."
