Report: Roughly 20 teams have inquired about Irving

The Cleveland Cavaliers have apparently received no shortage of offers for their disgruntled starting point guard.

Approximately 20 teams have inquired about Kyrie Irving's availability after reports surfaced that the four-time All-Star had requested a trade, league sources told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski. However, far fewer teams have submitted legitimate trade proposals.

The Minnesota Timberwolves, Miami Heat, Phoenix Suns, San Antonio Spurs, Los Angeles Clippers, and New York Knicks have all made offers for Irving, according to Wojnarowski. The Boston Celtics have reportedly also expressed interest in the crafty guard, and have asked the Cavaliers to keep them in the loop on any potential deals.

The Cavaliers reportedly believe there's little chance of salvaging their relationship with the 25-year-old and presume a trade is "almost inevitable." The team has reportedly attempted to contact Irving, but has yet to receive a response from him.

The 6-foot-3 guard averaged 25.2 points, 5.8 assists, 3.2 rebounds, and 1.2 steals on 47.3 percent shooting in 72 games for the Cavaliers this past season.
