Report: LaVar Ball gets ref replaced midgame after earning tech

LaVar Ball gets what LaVar Ball wants.

After earning a technical foul during a Big Ballers' AAU contest in Las Vegas on Friday, the outspoken father of three pointed to the referee and said, "We need to get someone else in here," according to ESPN's Jeff Borzello. Ball then reportedly threatened to pull his team off the floor and was able to get the official replaced midgame.

Adidas told Borzello it was the company's decision to replace the referee, as LaVar and the official had history from earlier in the week.

The referee didn't comment following the substitution.

The Big Ballers forfeited a game at the Double Pump Best of Summer Tournament last week after Ball earned a tech and then removed his players from the court.
