LaVar: Ref who was replaced midgame 'needs to stay in her lane'
LaVar Ball could find himself under fire as a result of his recent comments about a female official.
Lonzo and LaMelo Ball's father sounded off on the referee after he was issued a tech during an AAU game Friday, suggesting that officiating may not be the job for her.
"She's got a vendetta," LaVar told ESPN's Jeff Borzello. "She needs to stay in her lane because she ain't ready for this."

Adidas opted to replace the referee during the game due to the history LaVar and the official had from earlier in the week, according to Borzello.
This isn't the first time LaVar has made controversial remarks about a woman, as the AAU coach was under fire in May after he told FS1's Kristine Leahy to "stay in her lane" during an appearance on Colin Cowherd's show, "The Herd."
Unfazed by the backlash, LaVar quickly looked to profit off the attention, selling "Stay in yo lane" shirts on his Big Baller Brand website later that month.
