Los Angeles Clippers center Willie Reed was arrested Sunday morning on a domestic violence charge in Miami, according to The Miami Herald's David Ovalle.
He was charged with misdemeanor battery.
Reed was released to former Miami Heat teammate Okaro White later Sunday, Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.
Reed played 71 games last season for the Heat, averaging 5.3 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 0.7 blocks in 14.5 minutes.
The 27-year-old signed a one-year, $1.5-million contract with the Clippers this summer.
