Cousins suggests he'd like to see Melo join Pelicans
DeMarcus Cousins may have subtly revealed the identity of one of the stars he's been trying to recruit.
The New Orleans Pelicans center recently admitted he's reached out to "some of the biggest names on the block" to join forces with him and fellow All-Star big man Anthony Davis.
Cousins "liked" an Instagram photo that floated the notion of him and Carmelo Anthony reuniting in the Big Easy, and replied with the "eyes" emoji.

The two were USA Basketball teammates and captured Olympic gold last summer in Rio. Now Cousins, who was traded to the Pelicans following All-Star weekend, appears in favor of his new team making a move for Melo.
The veteran forward has been plagued by trade rumors for months, and reportedly informed the New York Knicks he doesn't want to return next season. He wields a no-trade clause, which it's believed he'd only waive to join the Houston Rockets.

It seems like Boogie hopes the 10-time All-Star will reconsider, much like the Knicks, Oklahoma City Thunder, and Portland Trail Blazers.

Anthony averaged 22.4 points, 5.9 rebounds, and 2.9 assists in 2016-17 for his hometown club, and has one guaranteed year remaining on his contract.
