The Charlotte Hornets will sign free-agent guard Julyan Stone to a two-year minimum contract, sources told The Vertical's Shams Charania.
The report states the deal will come with a second-year trigger date and is pending FIBA approval. Stone recently admitted he was having difficulty getting out of his contract with Italian team Reyer Venezia. Compounding matters was his ill father, who is in hospital stateside.
Stone hasn't played in the NBA since 2013-14 with the Toronto Raptors.
