Veteran power forward Brandon Bass won't return for a 13th NBA season in 2017-18, opting to ply his trade in the Far East instead.
Bass is signing a one-year, $2-million deal with the Liaoning Leopards of the Chinese Basketball Association, a source told international reporter David Pick.
The 32-year-old, who spent last season with the Los Angeles Clippers, had gone unsigned as an unrestricted free agent this summer. He averaged 5.6 points and 2.5 rebounds in 52 games off the bench last season, with a career-best 19.7 PER and 65 percent true shooting.
