Rashard Lewis, Stephen Jackson highlight BIG3 award winners
The BIG3 has unveiled the award winners for its inaugural season.
Ice Cube's new 3-on-3 league announced Wednesday that former NBA All-Star Rashard Lewis is the 2017 BIG3 MVP. The 38-year-old led the league with four game-winners and was the most accurate 4-point shooter, nailing 67 percent of his really, really deep attempts.
After going undefeated in the regular season, Trilogy also dominated at the awards show. Rick Mahorn won COY, Kenyon Martin was named Player Captain of the Year, James White notched DPOY, and the Too Hard to Guard honor was bestowed upon Al Harrington.
Another unique award was Best Trash Talker, which Stephen Jackson earned.
