The Bucks called the MECCA, now the the UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena, home from their inaugural season in 1968 until 1988. The Celtics and the Bucks met at the 11,000-seat venue 48 times during the regular season.
Milwaukee made 16 playoff appearances, won 12 division championships, and, in its third season, won the 1971 NBA Championship.
The MECCA homecoming will be the first time the Bucks have hosted a regular-season game off-site since the 1974-75 season.
To make the occasion more special, the team unveiled a "Classic Edition" uniform that will be used for the first time this season for the MECCA game.
