Lillard: I should've been All-Star last 2 seasons
Damian Lillard isn't one to forget a slight.
After earning All-Star honors earlier in his career, the Portland Trail Blazers point guard believes he's been snubbed by voters the past two seasons, saying he should have four appearances at this point.
"It should've been '16 and '17, too," Lillard said during a Q-and-A in New York for NBA 2K18.
The 27-year-old has filled the stat sheet over the past two seasons, averaging 26.1 points, 6.4 assists, 5.5 rebounds, and 0.9 steals in 150 games.
While Lillard has been lethal on the offensive end, he also plays in a conference that boasts a number of top-tier point guards, including Russell Westbrook, Stephen Curry, and Chris Paul.
Should he fail to make the All-Star team this season, don't be surprised if Lillard drops another track to voice his frustrations.
