Free-agent forward Andrew Nicholson has signed a contract with the Guangdong Tigers of the Chinese Basketball Association, a source told international basketball reporter David Pick.
Nicholson was waived by the Brooklyn Nets last week after splitting last season between them and the Washington Wizards - struggling to get consistent minutes with both teams.
The No. 19 pick in the 2012 draft showed promise as a rookie with the Orlando Magic, but has regressed since. The 6-foot-9 power forward played for his native Canada during the recent AmeriCup tournament.
